Airhogs Zero Gravity

A sixty second commercial for the Air Hogs Zero Gravity Laser Racer toy. This commercial was our first ever project, while rough around the edges, we are still very happy with the result. Shot with zero budget and over one day, this advert was the height of our guerilla filmmaking. The entire advert was shot on a Sony A7s inside Greenwich University, with the main studio set up being created inside a cupboard with a softbox attached to a single dedolight and roll of wallpaper. 

The staple shot of the advert is the car rotating around, this was essential as the main selling point of the product was the fact that it can drive on the ceiling & up walls. This effect was achieved by attaching the car to a microwave tray, spinning it around to get the lighting change on the car and rotoscoping the tray out in post. A lack of resources and money forced you to get creative... 

We entered this advert into a competition on Zooppa and came away with first place. The final video is now featured on the Air Hogs youtube channel and was used to promote the product on their social media.
