Vesio provided editing services for this mini-documentary. Dance is inside everyone, you've just got to find it...' Tamsin Fitzgerald is helping people find their dance in Hereford. The @2FacedDance Company is an internationally touring all-male dance company and thanks to National Lottery Players, they're also teaching the young through dance classes. This is the fourth film in the #LotteryLegends Series, directed by a @BFI film academy graduate, Rebecca Doctor.
Our editor, Chris, was involved in the pitching process to the BFI alongside Rebecca Doctor. In order to secure funding and support for the concept, they both attended a workshop event on the southbank where they had to showcase their creative and technical capabilities to panel members, some of which included the program coordinator of the BFI Future Film Festival.
The editing process for this project was fairly simple. As we had been involved from the beginning, we had a shared vision with the director and were able to execute it within a day of editing, allowed the composer, Benjamin Squires (who has since worked on feature film trailers & TV spots for films such as Spiderman: Far From Home, Knives Out, The Shape of Water and so on. Check out his website here: https://www.benjaminsquires.co.uk/) to work on an original score that showcased the beauty of their dancers movement.
